6SS iMonitor® is a hardware, software and network monitoring tool developed by 6SS Software Engineers in order to work in conjunction with Milestone XProtect Smart Client to allow the automation of Alarms in a Network and simplify the monitoring process of multi sites in terms of sites’ status, configured servers, cameras’ operation status and their related hardware which is usually done by a security officer. It is based on SNMP protocol and its main function is to collect the SNMP traps incoming from various SNMP-enabled components like Switches, Environmental Devices, Servers, and Network Access Servers and forward them to Milestone XProtect system which will take care of the Alarm generation process. Customized alarms and reports can be configured in Milestone Smart Client to simplify the process of Network Monitoring and make it more accurate.
